This is a marvelous restaurant. All natural, well prepared food and the service is friendly and engaging. Save looking around and go straight here for breakfast. We will come back when next in town.
If not for a few horrible experiences at All Good Cafe in Deep Ellum, we may have never tried this little gem of place! The food is good, and the service is excellent. Every time my girlfriends eat here for lunch the manager and staff come over and talk with us and know us by name. If you're looking for good food and a fun time, then Dream Cafe is the place.Cheers!
We had a great time while at this place, the service was exceptional and the food was amazing. We enjoyed greatly the patio seating. You need to try their strawberry butter is delicious!
My favorite place in the DFW area, I always make it a point to stop in when in the area for work. Cinnamon rolls are to die for!
We were here for brunch and had a really great time! I got the chicken and waffles and it was good!! Friends got the champagne jars and there wasn't a drop left so safe to say that was really good too! We had this server who was so hospitable! Nice, friendly and professional. We sat outside under a shaded area with a fan so it wasn't too hot. I always appreciate places with outdoor seating space! There's also parking so that's a great plus and this is within walking distance of a couple other good spots. Overall great experience!!
Overall great experience. Friendly staff. Nice vibe. They had paper straws (do with that what you will). My focus goes back to the Chicken & Waffles. I didn't know it was going to be covered in gravy, so I probably would've ordered it on the side. The gravy and the chicken were delicious. However, I entertained the notion and added syrup to the gravy-doused wakes. Boy, let me tell you... I was not prepared for what I experienced. Every bite required detailed attention. The leaps my tongue was taking seemed to push the experience even further with every bite. Did I like it? Did I hate it? The only way to figure out the answer was to continue eating it. And I did. Every. Bite.I will say it's better than Oddfellow's. Better priced, too. I had it yesterday and haven't stopped thinking about it.
Gregg the server is AWESOME!!! Great service and AMAZING food!
I’m come here all the time but today they music was amazing and I noticed that all the servers were helping one another ,love to see that. I 10/10 recommend my server Camryn.
Nice small restaurant in downtown Dallas. It’s great place for dinner with healthy/vegan options. Service was ok, but we noticed stuff quarrel near us
Great place for a coffee and friends.
Great breakfast. Ate before we left town. Great service, and they will let you modify stuff if you need to and not be upset about it. Wish I had a picture. The outdoor eating was next to a parking garage but it was still really nice early on a Sunday morning.
Food was yummy Homemade popovers so good. Ambiance cool. Definitely recommend.
Ode to Roscoes chicken and waffle but less chicken and worse seasoning. Do yourself a favor and go to Eggsellent Cafe, better chicken and waffle for a better price. This place wants to Cash in on a popular California restaurant but brings nothing to the table. They should be sued for tarnishing Roscoes name.
If you’re going add vegan options to your menu. Chef, learn how to cook vegan food. Tofu Scramble was seasoned, spicy tofu, with beans ,rice , and whatever else. That’s not tofu scramble. I work in the field and if you want me to come behind that line and show you how, I will. That’s no excuse for bad food.
Always great. I love sitting at the bar. Its quick and easy for me to get I and out. Food is always delish!
Great brunch love the pomegranate mimosa
Amazing little spot in Uptown. Sort of hidden away which is great. Sit outside in their little tree grove and escape the city. Food is creative and hand crafted. This place is no attitude just good food & vibes.
The pancakes were delish and served with real Vermont maple syrup. Very fluffy and mmm, mmm, good
So nice to enjoy their shaded patio dining. Friendly team with great safety precautions. And the food is always good. Love their hibiscus green tea.
Excellent food and Service.
I went here with a friend on a Sunday. We arrived at noon. Despite plenty of empty tables, we had to wait 45 minutes to get seated. We were seated outside in the area which has dirty plastic covers. The floor was really dirty. The tables were dirty. It took another 30 minutes before getting the food. The food came on dirty plates. The napkin was dirty. The only saving grace was the friendly waiter, but do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
I loved this little find in the uptown area. It is a beautiful little place and the good is really good. They have a few vegetarian options and all of them looked appealing. I tried the scrambled eggs with popovers and loved it. You can find the picture in my review. Would definitely recommend and go here again.
This is an amazing little cafe with delicious food! There is indoor and outdoor seating. The patio is doggy friendly!!! Yay!!!! Our servers were Graham and Gregory. They were knowledgeable about the menu and very friendly and attentive. I chose the Bar Harbor burger (crab cake) and my coworkers chose the chicken sandwich and salmon salad. The crab cake didn't need red and green peppers but was tasty otherwise. Next time, I'll be sure to ask them to leave the peppers out. The pop overs with the strawberry butter were delicious! The seasoned fries are perfect. There is a parking lot and free garage parking. Try this place and treat yourself.
Its okay. Great for families with children. Food is decent. Would go back if i were in town.
Pretty good place overall. Didn’t like seeing the open kitchen. Food and juices were good. Very nice e older gentleman very attentive host. Really appreciate it.
My preferred scene for Breakfast. Great place to chill, get away, eat some good food. There was quick, helpful, and friendly service. This place has an awesome atmosphere. Reminds me of a place in New York I loved to visit.
If you’re looking for a cozy place to eat and sip mimosas, keep searching because this isn’t it. The staff are friendly but that’s the best part about this establishment. Our orders took forever and the server kept forgetting to bring request items. The dishes are filthy and the food is horrible. The pancakes were half done and taste like glue. The chicken strips were overcooked and extremely small. My first and certainly last time visiting.
the service was great! everyone is super attentive. the waffles were okay, not the best but the gravy, maple syrup & strawberry butter made it taste so much better. the chicken was delicious! i recommend but with gravy on the side. we also had mimosas. they are very clever with how they serve it, not like other places so thats a plus.
Food was ok ish wasn’t impressed, customer service was also pretty decent. The food presentation was on point. However waffle was very dry, chicken was close to burnt and over cooked, my bill was adjusted which I was more than grateful for, but the food quality was not it
Best Cinnamon Roll you will ever have! No kidding it's like croissant flaky. Everything tastes so fresh the kitchen staff are so kind, Glenn at the front is a warm greet first thing you walk in. The porch eatery has heaters and blankets. Dog friendly. Even VEGETARIAN options and not just one the have sausage, beyond meat burgers, and tofu
This place has the worst food i have ever had for the price! Everything was so bland! They gave me HOT COFFEE in a GLASS with a PAPER STRAW! The steak tasted like paper..I WILL NEVER GO BACK.
I recently visited the dream café and decided to order the french toast. Everything was going great until I felt my throat starting to close up. I waited until the waitress was back at our table and asked if the french toast had pecans in it, simply because it didn’t mention pecans on the menu. The waitress told me she was pretty sure it didn’t but she would check with the chef. She comes back maybe a couple minutes later and tells me that there are in fact pecans in the french toast. No where on the menu did it mention pecans let alone any nut. The waitress was very kind and offered to get me another coffee. The food was good and the waitress was kind however I am at a lack of words on how a restaurant lacks to mention the use of nuts, especially with tree nuts being such a common allergy.
Dream Cafe is one of my favorite places to eat. They've got a great selection of breakfast and lunch items. The cloud cakes are wonderful, so is the goat cheese and sundried tomato popover. I've never had anything I didn't enjoy here. There are many vegetarian options as well.
Good prices. Nice variety of food and beverages. Great seating arrangements. Attentive staff.
This Cafe' is totally chill and dreamy (and aptly named). The atmosphere can best be described as friendly neighborhood👏🏻. The food dope too. Thanks to Ben for excellent service.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS PLACE BUT ITS MADE EVEN BETTER BY MY WAITER GREGORY!!!! He brought my food fast and has AMAZING energy. I liked my chicken and waffles but I LOVED him ❣️❣️❣️
Five stars for the best pumpkin pancakes I have ever had thus far. The moment it touches your tongue you know for a fact these are pumpkin flavored pancakes. The richness and the fullness of these pancakes will leave you satisfied and at the same time making you come back for more. The Vermont maple syrup was pure and sweet just like grandma's kisses that make everything better. The Grady's omelette was well prepared with smoked salmon, herb cream cheese, wilted spinach, and chopped tomatoes. Grady's omelette went well with the strawberry butter on whole wheat toast that was so good and so delightful to the senses.
Great to visit if ur in the Dallas area
Great service and the food/drinks are really good no matter what you order. Consistent Everytime and I appreciate how nice everyone is!
Our server was awesome. Breakfast was great and you have to get the Dream mimosa.
Good place for delicious breakfast. I give this spot a thumbs up. The place has a nice atmosphere. Reminds me of a cafe in Chicago I loved to visit.
Chicken n waffles are amazing. Dreamosas are an awesome idea. Great staff and just great food and atmosphere.
I love the Hash Browns It tasted like actual potatoes not like other restaurants
This place was amazing. The ricotta pancakes, cheesy grits, the Elvis (next level biscuits and gravy) and pop overs where on point. Best poached eggs I’ve ever had and I’ve had my share. Gregory was a sweetheart and helped us decide what we wanted. It’s the best breakfast I’ve had since my grandmas.
Cares about the community, being diligent in a world wide pandemic, great food and amazing service. highly recommend.
Everything was good. I had the chicken and waffles with the gravy on the side. The mimosas was on point.
I called in a breakfast order to go. The guy tht took my order was very friendly. Got to the restaurant, Marcella the lady working the counter was a bit rude. My food took an extra 20mins before it was ready. Could have been a much better experience.
Dream Cafe has become a favorite of mine over time as it is great for my vegan diet. I live in Morocco most of the year so when I come to the states it's one of the 1st places I look to visit. Today was no different, however, I did not enjoy the place at all today. After having sat at the table, on the patio, in wait to be served only to watch our server seat and serve another couple before taking the time to check to see if we were ready to order we simply left. The average check for a couple runs close to $40 here. The service must match.
The waiter was great! The food was not the best. No seasoning. It was hard to really enjoy my meal due to the gnat infestation. I couldn’t eat in peace because the entire time I ate, I was shooing the gnats away. It was really uncomfortable and disgusting. I felt like I was getting attacked. It makes you wonder how the kitchen is looking? A side waffle was $12... way too overpriced. I probably won’t return. It was a little dirty inside. My experience left me itching and sticky feeling.
Dream Cafe is a delicious Zagat rated brunch spot that isn't too crowded on the weekends. You can even call ahead to skip the line! We got the sunny side and the country benedict (pics are below).
